Services
I offer kind, patient, horse-centered training grounded in principles of attunement, awareness, and mutual trust. I work with untouched horses, start horses under saddle, and address specific training goals. I can help people improve their riding and groundwork skills, integrate mindfulness practices into working with horses, and build confidence and connection.
Colt Starting
I will work with your horse, halter started, unhandled, or anywhere in between, at my facility just outside of Lander. Programs can be tailored to match your horse’s starting point and desired outcomes. Building trust and balancing sensitivity and confidence in your horse is central to my approach.
I can provide targeted training to address specific problems, concerns, or desires. I will work with your horse either at my facility for a specific period of time, or at your facility over one or multiple sessions. Examples of challenges I have successfully addressed include fear of trailers, dullness, over-reactivity, pushiness on the ground, and being herd-bound or barn sour. Examples of advanced or more targeted training I have provided include lead changes, starting horses over fences, packing and camping.

I can work with you, using your own horse or one of mine, to meet your unique goals. Whether you want support in starting a young horse, to improve your riding skills, to learn groundwork and training fundamentals, or to connect with horses as a mindfulness and attunement practice, I will listen to your goals and meet you where you are at.
I believe that working with horses can be an opportunity to practice mindfulness in relationship, to build self-awareness, and to cultivate patience, non-judgment, and equanimity. Through partnership with a horse, we can become the best versions of ourselves, and we can build confidence and trust in our horses. I am excited to help people develop technical horse skills and to help horses build relationships with people based on a foundation of respect and attention.

Working with horses can feel inaccessible for all sorts of reasons — finances, fear, lack of experience or opportunity. I am committed to working with people who want to spend time with horses, regardless of past experiences or financial realities. All services are offered on a sliding scale, and I can meet you wherever you’re at in your own development or progression.
